when it is shared all around you?

Who was there, following me?
I never see him until I stare into the clearness

Been looking for the keys to these doors
Barred up since I was born
Breaking out into a desperate run
To find the way back where I haven't begun
With one look over my shoulder
And burning passion to fly again
Fighting momentum, finding a foreign home
Seems time has broken my chains once again

And now the sounds play out and lift up the veil of silence
In which I've wandered in all of my life
In my freedom, I see a glimpse of him

When the choice is more than just open and shut ears
